Counters and how they are used on the Maps

Because players can stack any number of ships in a hex, a single counter will be used to represent a "Fleet" fedflt.gif. I have tried to keep the names the same, but in some case where more than a single fleet are in the same hex I have had to improvise. In Gale Force for example, both the Lyran Steel Claw and Thrusting Tiger Fleets are in 1502, so I created a unique counter lyrctrcom_1.gif. Clicking on these counters would have taken you to a page showing (by the use of F&E counters) all the forces, including bases and planetary defenses, in that hex.

Some hexes will only have a single ship grndd.gif or in some case 2 ships lyr2dw.gif. These counters would not have been linked. Hexes that only have a Base or Planet would not have beeb linked.

Some single ship counters would have been covering up a base or planet in the same hex. In those cases the ship designation on the counter would have been underlined klnctrd6.gif and would have been linked to a page showing (by the use of F&E counters) all the forces including bases and planetary defenses in that hex.
